My biggest issue is that once I was done, it took at least 10 minutes for someone to bring my check. The butter and lobster flavors were well pronounced. The lobster bits were apparent, and the sauce was creamy and perfectly balanced. I will say, my pasta was awesome! This is the second time in my entire life that a pasta dish impressed me beyond belief. I didn't mind the couple of minutes it took for my waiter to check in with me because I was able to take really awesome photos of my dish while I waited. My dish arrived, but I had not received silverware. I opted for the Black Shells pasta dish based recommendation and opted for water as my beverage. ![]() My waiter greeted me promptly and poured my water as I looked over the menu. Upon entering, I was cheerfully greeted and seated at the perfect spot on the patio. I landed there after asking locals to recommend a spot that offered a delicious seafood pasta. San Morello is an absolutely beautiful restaurant with modern decor and a quaint outdoor dining area. Authentic fresh Italian flavors abound! Grazi Andiamo for a beautiful meal! Great place for any occasion or just to treat yourself. Beautiful flecks of kirsch cherry, chocolate ribbons and other bursts of flavor was perfect. He didn’t disappoint! That was the best spumoni ice cream I’ve had in ages. I asked Jordan if they had spumoni ice cream. We were so full and although the desert selections looked amazing, we wanted something light. We also had the Veal Milanese which was lightly breaded, tender and flavorful with roasted potatoes and green beans. The generous sweet meat lobster tail was accompanied with warm drawn butter. The shrimps had a Cajun like taste and married nicely with the creamy Alfredo. ![]() It was devine! The fresh grilled scallops were huge and cooked perfectly. Jordan recommended to have the seafood grilled vs sautéed as it would taste amazing. Our salads both house and Caesar were on chilled plates and tasted nice. We started with the calamari that was accompanied by a homemade tomato sauce that had fresh cut basil chiffonades (mini julienne type slice strips). Jordan our server was friendly and offered excellent suggestions of specialty seasonal items that weren’t on the menu. We’ve been to the Bloomfield Twnsp on previous travels and we were happy to see a location in the Ren Cen where we were staying.įood is very fresh, delicious and pastas are made in-house. They have other locations in the suburbs as well. I am definitely going to be coming back here for another special occasion as I can count on their staff treating us extremely well hats off to the staff, to the chef who made our food, and to the well versed historian, they respected and honored our time, our patronage and our visit it could not have been a better night.Īndiamo at the Detroit Riverfront is an Italian fine dining restaurant in the Ren Cen building. ![]() The historian took us around many parts of the house giving us a bunch of facts about the home and the tile and the brick and the electrical wiring and the history of some of the rooms and what they used to be it was just absolutely the best service I have ever had in a restaurant. The portions were a little bit smaller than expected but all in all I was full and I was happy and they treated us very well. ![]() This was literally VIP treatment that we got the owner came in and shook our hands and we were then taken around by a historian after our dinner which was amazing. Their customer service is insanely good, our table was wobbly so they put us in the VIP room where it was a single room with a single table with lounge chairs around it. I made reservations for 4 a couple weeks ago and came in last night at that time, two buddies ran late so they escorted us to the third-floor where we got a couple glasses of wine and waited until other members of our party arrived where we then went to our table and our waiter could not have been better and more accommodating.
